In the past few years, the Brazilian artist twins have left traces all over the world with their elaborate and detailed work. They have successfully made the transition from street to art world and get invited to renowned institutions such as Art Basel, for example, in Miami last year. Nevertheless, they still draw inspiration from the power of the street and maintain strong relations with the public space. In Wuppertal, they worked in a tunnel at the same disused train track as the Japanese artist couple KAMI & SASU. There, they dedicated themselves to the subject "poetry" and the romantic era between ‘39 and ‘45 in Brazil. They played with the contrast which resulted from the aesthetics of the tunnel and the original function of the place in interaction with the return to nature.
